【雲山水新聞網╱邱水文 劉鑫台北報導】 中國國民黨主席鄭麗文今（12）日於中央黨部接見美國在台協會（AIT）處長谷立言（Raymond Greene）一行，雙方就臺美關係及兩岸情勢等議題進行廣泛而深入的意見交流，會談氣氛融洽且建設性十足。

鄭主席表示，臺美關係至關重要，期盼美方持續給予理解與支持。她強調，唯有透過穩定的溝通與互信，方能共同維護區域和平與穩定。
Chair Cheng underscored the vital importance of Taiwan–U.S. relations, expressing her hope for continued understanding and support from the United States. She emphasized that sustained dialogue and mutual trust are essential to maintaining peace and stability in the region.

谷立言處長重申，美國從未尋求台海對抗或衝突，當前首要目標是避免戰爭，並確保任何兩岸分歧的處理皆以和平、無脅迫的方式進行。
Director Greene reaffirmed that the United States does not seek confrontation or conflict across the Taiwan Strait, stressing that Washington’s top priority is to avoid war and ensure that any resolution of cross-strait differences remains peaceful and free from coercion.

鄭主席對此充分認同，雙方一致認為，兩岸和平不僅攸關區域穩定，更是全球和平不可或缺的重要基石；任何對現狀的改變，皆應尊重兩岸人民的意願。
